TTV G229022 Resilient Seat Gate Valve is made with a GJS 400-15 Ductile Iron body, conforming to EN1074 to maintain top efficiency during its service life. The valve's wedges are also Ductile Iron, featuring a vulcanized, strong rubber coating suitable for use in temperatures up to 120°C. The body's seating surfaces remain flat, providing an unhindered flow path and guaranteeing 100% leak tightness. This design prevents potential maintenance or sealing problems that might occur from dirt and other solid particles gathering in a small recess.

Application and Features

• Valves suitable for the following applications: potable water, waste water, sea water, air conditioning, heating, irrigation, fire fighting, industrial, etc.

• Body, bonnet and wedge manufactured in Ductile Iron GJS 400-15, in order to ensure high efficiency and longer life of the valves, in compliance with EN1074.

• The wedge is in Ductile Iron, vulcanised with high quality rubber, guaranteeing a great elasticity, durability and tightness.

• The sealing area of the body is flat, ensuring 100% tightness and also avoiding possible leakage due to accumulation of solids/dirt in the area.

• Body coated with high quality Epoxy (internally and externally), 300 micron standard thickness, WRAS approved for its use in contact with potable water.

• The stem is in stainless steel, and internal trim in bronze material. This will guarantee its efficiency against corrosion as well as low torque values, which contribute to increase the life of the valve.

• Maximum working temperature: 120 °C.

• Easy maintenance, since it could be carried out without the need of disassembling the valve from the installation.

• 100 tight shut off. Test according to EN 12266 / ISO 5208.

• Body / Bonnet connecting screws protected.
