The TTV Colossus butterfly valve 40WX4040 is a double eccentric wafer valve engineered for trustworthy isolation in industrial systems running at PN10/40, Class 150 pressure rating. Fabricated from CF8M Stainless Steel and equipped with a PTFE seat, this butterfly valve presents high mechanical robustness, dependable sealing, and steady performance in challenging service environments.
The double eccentric configuration permits the disc to disengage from the seating early during functioning, minimising friction and wear. This yields lower operating torque, prolonged valve lifespan, and enhanced shut-off dependability, notably in uses involving repeated cycling. The PTFE seat furnishes low friction traits and good chemical tolerance, assuring consistent sealing across a broad spectrum of process mediums.
